Our Story

Welcome to my Mindt store, where we’re passionate about our matcha and we want to share our matcha passion with you.

I was born and raised in Kobe, Japan known for its Arima Onsen hot springs, world-renowned Kobe Beef, and the breathtaking Mt Rokko, where I was brought up with the almost mystical culture of matcha being an integral part of my life.

I have fond memories of attending Sado classes under the instruction of a skilled professional and partaking in the traditional Japanese Sado tea ceremonies as a child.

The rich culture and captivating traditions always fascinated me and I could not wait to continue indulging in the culture when I moved to the United States.

However, when I moved to the United States, I discovered a common problem that many matcha enthusiasts can relate to – finding high-quality matcha that lives up to the authentic taste and aroma of Japan.

This dilemma led me to seek out the finest natural matcha like I was accustomed to in Japan and having finally found it, I am delighted to have the privilege of sharing matcha’s rich culture and mystical benefits with you.
